Η Λίλη Μιχαηλίδου ζει και εργάζεται στη Λευκωσία.
Παρακολούθησε γραμματειακές σπουδές και δημόσιες σχέσεις.

Έχει εκδώσει τέσσερις ποιητικές συλλογές:

• Η Αλχημεία του Χρόνου (Γκοβόστης, 2001)
• Ανάγλυφα Σχήματα και Δρόμοι. (Γκοβόστης, 2003)
• Ανάμνηση μιας Ανατολής (Γκοβόστης, 2004) και
• Υπαινιγμοί (Μελάνι, 2008).
• Επίσης τα αφηγήματα Η πόλη δεν θέλει συστάσεις (Μελάνι, 2011).

Ποιήματά της έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε εφημερίδες και λογοτεχνικά περιοδικά στην Κύπρο και στο εξωτερικό και έχουν μεταφραστεί στα Αγγλικά, Γαλλικά, Ιταλικά, Τούρκικα, Σουηδικά και Βουλγάρικα. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε ποιητικές βραδιές και παρουσιάσεις στην Κύπρο και στο εξωτερικό.

Είναι κύριο μέλος του μη Κερδοσκοπικού Οργανισμού Ιδεόγραμμα και οργανώνει ποιητικές συναντήσεις στην Κύπρο και στο εξωτερικό, με τη συμμετοχή ποιητών από όλο τον κόσμο.

Κατά την περίοδο 2009-2010, με το Ιδεόγραμμα, διοργάνωσε τη σειρά εκδηλώσεων με τίτλο Τρίπτυχο: Ποίηση · Ταυτότητα · Συνύπαρξη μέσα στα πλαίσια του Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος Πολιτισμού 2007-2013. Έξι εκδηλώσεις σε τέσσερις Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, την Ελλάδα, τη Γαλλία, τη Σουηδία και την Κύπρο. Για περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες στο www.ideogramma-cy.com.

Οργάνωσε την παρουσίαση του Νομπελίστα Σουηδού Ποιητή Tomas Transtromer στη Λευκωσία τον Μάρτιο του 2010 (στο χώρο του Αρχοντικού Τεχνών, ΑRΤΕ) και της Ελληνίδας συγγραφέως Έρσης Σωτηροπούλου, τον Φεβρουάριο του 2011 (στο χώρο του Πολιτιστικού Κέντρου Shoe Factory).

Τον Οκτώβριο του 2011 διοργάνωσε, με το Ιδεόγραμμα, την εκδήλωση Κύπρος · Λογοτεχνικός Προορισμός 2011, με τη συμμετοχή 4 συγγραφέων από 4 χώρες.

Eκδηλώσεις που διοργάνωσε με την ευκαιρία της Διεθνούς Ημέρας Ποίησης:

Διεθνής Ποιητική Συνάντηση "To Be or Not to Be" (Μεσαιωνική Αίθουσα Καστελιώτισσα · Λευκωσία, 21 Μαρτίου 2008) στην οποία πήραν μέρος ποιητές από την Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό. Συμπόσιο Ποίησης "to Be or What to Be" (Unesco Conference Hall, University of Nicosia . 22 Μαρτίου, 2008).

Διεθνής Ποιητική Συνάντηση "et in terra pax" (Μεσαιωνική Αίθουσα Καστελιώτισσα · Λευκωσία, 21 Μαρτίου 2007) στην οποία πήραν μέρος ποιητές από την Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό.

Ποιητική Βραδιά "Η Άλλη Διάσταση" (Ίδρυμα Άρτος · Λευκωσία, 21 Μαρτίου 2006), στην οποία πήραν μέρος Ελληνοκύπριοι και Τουρκοκύπριοι ποιητές.

Οργάνωσε την εκδήλωση "poetic collection" με την ευκαιρία της Διεθνούς Ημέρας Ειρήνης, για την Έδρα UNESCO στην Κύπρο (Intercollege · εξωτερικό αμφιθέατρο, 21 Σεπτεμβρίου, 2006).

Ήταν κύριο μέλος της Οργανωτικής Επιτροπής της εκδήλωσης "Παράσταση Πολυμέσων Συναισθησία" (Θεατράκι ΡΙΚ - Μάιος, 2003) στην οποία πήραν μέρος Kύπριοι και Έλληνες ποιητές.

Her poems have been published in newspapers and literary magazines in Cyprus and abroad and have been translated into English, French, Turkish, Italian, Serbian, Swedish, Spanish, German and Bulgarian.

She has participated in various literary festivals and poetry readings and events in Cyprus and abroad.

June 2013 - May 2020, board member, Cyprus PEN Centre, responsible for Public and International Relations.

Since 2006 she is co-owner and co-director of the non profit organisation Ideogramma, which organises cultural literary events in Cyprus and abroad.
